Having Trouble Buying a Gift For Your Man?

I asked several brothers to list the top three things they would like to receive as a gift from their wife..

These are the top ten answers:

#10 –  A sentimental, thoughtful token.  Something personal.  (Isn’t it sad that this is at the bottom of their list and probably at the top of ours!)

#9 – What I like to call ‘Boy Stuff’.  (Sporting equipment, gardening equipment, grills, power tools…you get the idea)

#8 – Something pleasing to Allah (Yes, they really put this!  I should tell my husband this is enough to make some husbands happy)

#7 – Islamic lectures/CD’s/Books

#6 – Food! (They want us to make them food…specifically something sweet)

#5 - The old classic, “Dinner and a movie”

#4 – Sports Stuff (tickets, memorabilia, etc)

#3 – Personal Items (clothes, accessories like a watch, belt, cologne)

#2 – A surprise trip (a weekend getaway somewhere)

#1 – Techie Stuff – (Ipad’s/Iphone’s/DVD’s/Flat screens etc etc)

**BTW the top two answers were overwhelmingly the top two!

Interesting ….

I just read this to my husband and he would like to know who you asked b/c he doesn’t feel that food should be a gift, in his words ‘food is a requirement’. Welcome to my world hehe :)

Ok Im kinda of proud of myself for having done most of these already, minus the techi stuff (he bought ME an iphone) and the mini vacation (although I do come up with most of our vacation plans). One place I can always find neat gifts: http://www.redenvelope.com I have gotten my hub a monogrammed compass (cause he likes road trips), monogrammed key chains, business card holder, etc. He loved them all :)

for you if it’s allright. Could it be simply me or does it look as if
