Ramadan Decorations: More Tissue Paper Stained Glass

Since we weren’t able to fill all the windows with my original stained glass idea, I knew I needed to find a quick and easy way to fill the top windows.  A friend posted a link on my Facebook page, and that gave me the idea for the decorative finish for the upper windows.  I can’t seem to find that link to give credit to the originator so if anyone finds it PLEASE let me know so I can give credit where credit is due!

I chose three colors but you can use as many as you want. I stacked all the colors I wanted to use, and then began by folding the pieces into fourths.

I just randomly cut out shapes. When I finished with the biggest shape, I removed the lightest color tissue paper. Then I refolded the other two colors and cut a smaller shape. I took out the lightest color again, and then cut the darkest color into the last shape. Is it just me or did that sound confusing?!

Glueing to the window, one layer at a time, starting with the lightest color.

You glued it to the window?? Which glue did you use and does it mess up the window?

Yes ma’am.. if you check the other post, there’s a link.. if you can’t find it let me know. Not sure yet how difficult it will be to take off but other moms online said regular window cleaner works. I’m not sure yet, though :/
